Three down. One more to go. Milan Fashion Week did not disappoint. In fact, it had so many special moments like the motherhood and children walk for Dolce & Gabbana. Plus, who ca forget Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid stunning finale. From Izabel Goulart to Joan Smalls, Emilio Pucci had the best model line-up (more like supermodel line-up) for Peter Dundas' last show. All in all, it was a fantastical and magical week. :) The biggest trend of Milan Fashion Week was the constant geometrical shapes. From Prada to Jill Sanders to Bottega Veneta, Milan taught us the lines of fashion (see what I did there). Another weird trend I noticed was furry shoes. I'm still kind of undecided on my thoughts on the concept but hot-shots, Fendi and Gucci had them in their shows so I guess it must be good. MFW was quite the trendsetter and of course, who can forget the "ALL ABOUT THE 70s". MFW Street Style was perfectly on-point. As you can see through the slideshow above, fashion bloggers, models, and gorgeous random people walking on the streets of Milan were some high-class art. Leather was used as biker jackets, blazers, culottes, skirts, and shoes. Honestly, I wouldn't even call it street style, it's more like off-the-catwalk style. The constant fringe, patterns, and 70s look was... ;)
I can't believe we are approaching the end. NY, London, and Milan kicked the up the standards real high, Paris! You better be hella lovely! Sitara. xx PS - Is it only me or do you think of That 70's Show when you read "all about the 70's"? lol

Hey guys! Happy March! It's almost Spring and I'm so excited for the warm weather. I saw snow fall for the very first time last week and it was a lot of fun although the picture I was barefoot in was quite the adventure. I guess the best part was that there was no school anytime it snowed or the forecast predicted a high chance for snow. :) #perksofnotlivinginFlorida So now on to the shameless self promotion... If any of you have checked the facebook page recently, you would have seen new photos added which you can find here. I keep all my photos updated there and include some special things that are not on my blog. For example, below is my #ootd collection which I will update regularly. Other than the blog's facebook page, you can also find me on instagram which related to both my blog and my personal life. My tumblr page is also a great source to find off-duty model look inspiration (it's where I go, too!). If you want to reach out to me for any advice, questions, or anything, send me a tweet on twitter and I'll definitely try to reply. And of course, you will always find my latest outfit sets on polyvore.
If you haven't checked out any of these, I definitely would encourage you to and follow me for updates. On March 4, the post all about Milan Fashion Week will be updated here so keep reading. Thanks! Sitara. Xx |
