London Fashion Week just ended yesterday and mannnn... was it (as the Brits say) wicked! From Burberry Prorsum to Topshop Unique, London Fashion Week hosted many of my favorite labels and designers. The front row had so many iconic people like Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, and so much more. Just like NYFW, the theme was unsurprisingly, "all about the 70s". Fringe was almost an extreme at shows like Burberry Prorsum and Issa. Bell-Bottom pants didn't shy away either; Flared pants in all different styles were such a hit at London. One of my favorite trends was the cape. As you can tell, I'm a Burberry fanatic and after last years monogrammed cape it was pretty obvious I was looking for the next big thing. I declare it's all about the suede and quilted cape. Below are a few of my favorite shows and the best look (in my opinion). From the high standards of New York street style, London delivered! The colors were laid-back and ultra chic. Below are my favorite street style looks. London Fashion Week, because it's shorter compared to the other Fashion Weeks, it felt soooo packed. My favorite show definitely was the Topshop Unique show which you can watch here.
Milan, here I come (on my laptop, of course)! Sitara. Xx

WOOOWWWWW! New York! You delivered a stunning AW15 collection at NYFW! The shows were quite surprising! From Alexander Wang's wet hair look to Marc Jacob's seductive, dark inspired, I felt like I was right there watching. The turn out for the front row was pretty awesome this year, too. March Vogue Cover besties, Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss were sitting front row in Oscar de la Renta and everywhere on social media, I saw Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad hanging out with the coolest kids on the block! Below are a few of my favorite looks: New York Fashion Week practically screamed "all about the 70s"! The color, brown, was used so much this year, and was probably my least favorite trend, simply because I hate the color brown on me. Of course, faux fur still continued to be the center piece of many shows. Last season, the fringe became a thing again and it definitely did not disappear this year; it was prominent in many collections including Rebecca Minkoff, J. Crew, and one of my favorites, BCBG Max Azria. Undoubtedly, my AW15 inspiration from the runway was the oversized, chunky, high-street style wraps. The best part of Fashion Week (besides the shows, of course) is the street style. Below are a few of my favorite looks: New York Fashion Week practically blew up my social media! I think it's every bloggers dream to be apart of a Fashion Week, especially one as big as New York Fashion Week. Fingers crossed, in couple of years, I will be able to be invited to a show in New York Fashion Week!
Hope you enjoyed! Now it's time to stream from my bedroom the London shows. ;) Speaking of London (sorry, this is so vague but the VS Fashion Show 2014 happened in London), rumors are, Karlie Kloss will not continue as a Victoria's Secret angel. On a happier note, Ms. Kloss will be focusing more on her modeling career as well as her education at NYU (ahhh! that's where I want to go!). Sitara. xx. FW15 Fashion Weeks are here and it's all kicking of right here in the USA with New York Fashion Week. Over the next month, I will be broadcasting my favorite looks from different designers as well as some of the best street style inspiration. After New York, I'll take you to London, Milan, and finally Paris!
Stay tuned. S. Xx Comment below if you have any suggestions. So... I have this obsession... with Fedoras. Yes, I said it, Fedoras. Guilty. In the past couple of years, Fedoras have sky rocketed and aren't something like what Justin Timberlake wore back when he was with N'SYNC. ;) What once was just a spring/summer trend, fedoras were quite strong as an accessory piece this winter as well. Yes, I do understand that it looks funky but it's only because we aren't used to it. Honestly, I just bough a fedora last week and I wore it out yesterday out grocery shopping with my mom and she just kept on laughing, said I looked silly. But, hey, I liked it and I'll wear it. Below are a few ways some of my favorite celebrities and models have styled the fedora. Where To Buy I hope I have at least convinced you to not judge fedoras and hopefully people who wear fedoras, too because it's now me. ;)
I've also been working on some projects for the blog which hopefully will interest you. Keep reading in the next month because FW15 Fashion Weeks are storming in! Yours. Sitara. xx It still feels like the year just started but already 1 month has been successfully completed. This year is starting to be a pretty good year and there are so many personal goals I want to achieve. Like always, and pretty much like the rest of the world, one of my goal is to be fit. My one problem for me is lack of motivation. Like once I get in the gym, I 'm all sweaty and I love it but until someone get's my lazy bum up, I'd rather be blogging. ;) The only thing which motivates me to hit the gym is the fashionable sportswear. Below are a few things I have and I want which will get me to the gym! Although the idea of looking cute in gym is quite contradicting, it is possible. Just check out Victoria Secret Supermodel Izabel Goulart's instagram for inspiration. (That's what I do!)
The two places I love to buy sportswear is from Victoria's Secret and Nike as you can tell from my sets above. You can find the rest of my favorite storeshere. Another helpful tip when exercising is to always helps to have a partner in crime. Working out with someone gives you the additional pressure to work harder. Last weekend, a friend and I went biking about 10 miles each day and it was incredible. Honestly if I was alone, I would have bailed after 30 minutes. Have an awesome night watching the Superbowl! I'll be watching just for the Victoria's Secret commercial and Katy Perry's halftime show! :) S. xx PS - I want to wish my friend, Harry Styles a very happy 21st birthday! I expect an invitation 5 years from now for your 26th birthday, Harold. ;) |
